Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II at the Houston Milk Plant, you will work in a team environment to provide technical support for maintenance processes and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient production of high-quality products. You will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and collaborate closely with the Production Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain manufacturing processes and equipment in optimum condition.
  • Operate various electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and welding equipment.
  • Repair and replace plant equipment and systems.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Read and design blueprints for repairs and modifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of plant equipment maintenance operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems including hydraulic and pneumatic.
  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of electrical distribution systems and PLC programming.

Additional Information

  • Regularly lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift 20 lbs or more.
  • Work extended hours and rotating schedules.
  • Work in various temperature-controlled environments depending on plant location.
