Job Description

Overview

Ecolab is seeking an Assembler II to join their team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This hands-on role involves mechanical and electrical assembly skills to build, inspect, and restore equipment that supports clean water, safe food, abundant energy, and healthy environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components with precision.
  • Perform assigned remanufacturing operations including disassembly, minor repairs, sorting, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Use fixtures, hand tools, and power tools to complete repetitive assembly tasks accurately.
  • Follow process and specification sheets to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Perform hydraulic and electrical checks to confirm equipment functionality.
  • Identify and resolve basic technical issues using problem-solving tools.
  • Complete labor reporting and recordkeeping with attention to detail.
  • Communicate proactively about maintenance needs, quality concerns, or safety issues.
  • Support the development of others by sharing knowledge and assisting with training.
  • Step in wherever needed to help the team meet its goals.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of previous work manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Basic math ability.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time-management and communication skills.
