Overview

Connections Personnel is hiring for a temp to hire Assembly Technician for a client located in Fairfield, NJ. The role involves working in a fast-paced machine assembly shop.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble controls and integrate them into components from start to finish.
  • Test components to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read blueprints.

Requirements

  • Electrical and mechanical assembly and machine shop experience needed.
  • Ability to read blueprints – Mechanical drawings.
  • PLC programming helpful.
  • 2-year degree, technical school, or work-related experience.
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • A team player who enjoys working with people.
  • Must speak English.
  • Drug test and background checks done prior to starting.
