Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding using 1/16" flux core or dual-shield weld wire on mining machinery and processing equipment parts.
  • Independently fit up parts, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, cutting torches, and air-arc equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively within a motivated team.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and zero harm behaviors.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of heavy welding experience, preferably with flux-core or dual-shield welding.
  • Ability to perform both welding and fit-up work independently.
  • Proficient in reading basic fabrication drawings and using tape measures and hand tools.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
