Overview

Interstate Mechanical Corporation (IMCOR) is one of Arizona’s largest mechanical subcontractors, specializing in Design/Build, Industrial HVAC, Piping & Plumbing Systems, Service Maintenance, and Special/Facility Projects. They are hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Shop Journeyman for their HVAC fabrication shop to fabricate and assemble commercial and industrial HVAC sheet metal products.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble HVAC sheet metal products and components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and submittals
  • Complete fabrication according to project specifications
  • Measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal materials
  • Produce accurate, quality fabrication work
  • Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Follow shop procedures and IMCOR safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform additional sheet metal trade-related assignments as needed

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of recent HVAC sheet metal experience
  • Strong sheet metal fabrication and assembly skills
  • Commercial and/or industrial HVAC experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and submittals
  • Ability to work accurately from measurements and project specifications
  • Dependable attendance and reliable work habits
  • Strong attention to quality
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work effectively with a fabrication shop team
