Overview

Vanguard Truck Centers is seeking a Heavy Duty Body Shop Technician to join their growing and profitable company. They value their employees and aim to lead the industry in meeting customer expectations while promoting teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
  • Identify and determine parts required for body shop repair of disassembled units
  • Perform all levels of Collision Repair services in the body shop
  • Touch-up painting on vehicle when assigned to do so
  • Remove & install decals on unit
  • Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
  • Test vehicles on the road when required
  • Keep shop area neat and clean
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Body Shop experience preferred
  • Heavy Duty truck experience preferred
  • CDL preferred
  • Ability to meet insurance requirements
  • Safety shoes are required on day one of employment
