The Industrial Technician - Passivation role at RMR Mechanical in Cumming, GA involves supporting project execution through equipment setup and chemical handling, emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of High Purity and Passivation equipment and systems.
• Handle hoses, pumps, filtration systems, tanks, piping, and other project-related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the mixing, transferring, and handling of approved chemicals while strictly following established safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Support flushing, passivation, preservation, and other high-purity system cleaning activities under the direction of project leadership.
• Monitor equipment performance and communicate any concerns or irregularities to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas throughout each project.
• Load, unload, organize, and properly care for company tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and inspection of company equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Follow all company and customer safety requirements, including PPE, confined space entry, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and other applicable procedures.
• Travel to customer job sites as required, which may include extended travel assignments.
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability by reporting to work on time and maintaining regular attendance.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and other trades.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success and operational needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous industrial, construction, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments, including overnight travel when necessary.
• Ability to work safely in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to successfully pass all required pre-employment and customer-required screenings.

Additional Information

• Location: Atlanta, GA.
• Hiring for all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift).
• Candidates should expect to travel to various project locations and must be willing to travel to Lucedale for training.
• $200 per diem for travel.
