Job Description

Overview

We're hiring an Aluminum TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in the Cookeville area. This position is ideal for an experienced welder who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and producing high-quality aluminum welds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on aluminum components with a strong focus on quality and appearance
  • Weld, fit, and assemble parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Complete tack welding and final welds on aluminum products
  • Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions
  • Use hand tools, measuring devices, and welding equipment safely and effectively
  • Assist with light metal preparation and finishing as needed

Requirements

  • Previous aluminum TIG welding experience required
  • Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds
  • Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship
  • Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand throughout the shift
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Additional Information

  • Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Shift: Day Shift
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Enjoy a three-day weekend every week
