Overview

Pure Air Filtration, LLC is seeking a full-time Senior Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, and customer support services for industrial air purification and filtration systems across North America. The role involves extensive travel and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field service activities including media changeouts, room sealing projects, startup and commissioning services.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, process, and basic electrical issues on customer equipment.
  • Independently execute standard field service assignments with limited supervision.
  • Document field activities through service reports and customer communications.
  • Conduct equipment evaluations and provide maintenance recommendations to customers.
  • Deliver customer training on equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Assist Engineering and Operations teams by collecting field data and supporting product improvements.
  • Support retrofit projects and equipment upgrades as directed.
  • Mentor less experienced technicians and assist with onboarding.
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and customer site safety requirements.
  • Participate in emergency service calls as needed.
  • Travel extensively to customer sites throughout the United States and Canada.
  • Perform assembly and production support activities at Company headquarters.
  • Verify equipment readiness prior to shipment and assist with pre-installation inspections.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and field service execution.
  • Work collaboratively between Field Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments.

Requirements

  • Technical school training, military experience, or related industry experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of industrial field service or related technical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently perform field service activities.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75-90% of the time.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to perform both field service and manufacturing responsibilities.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and related technical work.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.

Additional Information

  • This is a non-exempt position.
  • Compensation is dependent on skill level.
  • The base salary range for this position is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
  • The Company has a 401(k)-match program and company-paid life and AD&D insurance.
