Overview

The Maintenance Pipefitter/Welder role at Evonik Corporation involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial piping systems, troubleshooting issues, and executing basic welding tasks. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial piping systems and related components.
  • Troubleshoot piping-related issues and support equipment reliability improvements.
  • Assist in redlining and updating piping schematics and prints for accuracy.
  • Execute basic welding tasks for piping system repairs and installations.
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately using SAP or equivalent CMMS.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on safe and effective maintenance practices.
  • Participate in safety programs, including hazard identification and job safety assessments.
  • Support planned shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance outages to ensure system readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, quality standards, and internal maintenance protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
