Overview

Berger Engineering Company located in Carrollton, Texas is a leader in the commercial, institutional and industrial mechanical contracting field. They are in search of Copper Pipefitters with experience in a commercial HVAC environment who are optimistic and approachable.

Responsibilities

  • Follow company safety policies
  • Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Have piping knowledge of VAV’s and Air Handling units
  • Sweat and solder copper
  • Be willing to learn and take direction

Requirements

  • Possess general knowledge of hand tools and their use
  • Mechanical ability
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Be able to identify material for piping copper
  • Commercial HVAC experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of fire safety
  • 1-2 years of experience desired
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
  • Must be able to drive in hazardous weather conditions
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
