Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Welder Assistant to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will work closely with professional welders, providing essential support to ensure efficient and safe welding operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist professional welders with preparation and setup of welding equipment and materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Support welders during welding tasks by handling tools, positioning materials, and monitoring equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
  • Learn welding techniques and best practices from skilled welders on the job.

Requirements

  • Ability to assist professional welders effectively and follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

  • This is a second shift position starting at 3:00PM working 4 days a week/10 hour days.
