Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the creation of high-quality products that meet strict industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding processes.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <LOCATION> welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal and pipe components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts accurately.
  • Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances.
  • Fabricate ductwork, structural components, and custom metal assemblies adhering to ASME codes & standards.
  • Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety protocols to prevent accidents during welding and fabrication activities.

Requirements

  • Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background with hands-on fabrication work.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; experience with <LOCATION> welding preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
  • Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Experience with rigging, pipe threading, soldering, machining, ductwork fabrication, and assembly tasks is highly desirable.
  • Valid certification in welding (such as AWS or equivalent) is preferred; construction site experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

What you'll be running
