The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing and assembling various signs and structures while ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components using specialized equipment.
• Form materials into required shapes and dimensions for sign production.
• Install LED wiring and attach letter faces for functionality and aesthetics.
• Perform trim-out operations on letters using the CLN Quick Trim Notcher.
• Complete necessary documentation, including completion slips and material listings.
• Assist with handling, packing, loading, and unloading finished goods.
• Maintain flexibility in work hours, including availability for overtime.
• Attend meetings and training sessions to stay updated on policies.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning production debris.
• Ensure care and maintenance of company resources and tools.
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on work machines and tools.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of fabrication experience required.
• Experience in the sign industry is a plus.
• Proficient in aluminum spool gun welding.
• Basic mechanical and construction knowledge.
• Working knowledge of CLN machines and various power tools.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Adequate mathematical skills for fabrication tasks.
• High attention to detail for precision and quality.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
