Job Description

Overview

Join a growing manufacturing team where your MIG (GMAW) welding skills turn raw steel into finished product on a fast-moving production line. You will be responsible for welding steel components, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality in a full-time production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Weld steel components and production materials using MIG processes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements to plan each weld
  • Operate welders, grinders, cutting tools, and related fabrication equipment
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy
  • Maintain required production pace while following established safety and quality procedures
  • Assist with material handling and assembly tasks when needed
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance
  • Keep your workstation clean, organized, and ready for the next run

Requirements

  • Prior MIG welding experience preferred
  • Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic blueprints
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Capability to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout a full shift in a manufacturing setting
  • Comfort working independently and collaborating with a team
  • Background in manufacturing or production is a plus
