Overview

We are seeking a mechanically skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to support our roll-forming manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate should have good mechanical skills, strong troubleshooting ability, a willingness to learn, and the motivation to grow into a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair roll-forming lines, presses, uncoilers, straighteners, feeders, conveyors, cranes, forklifts, and other production equipment.
  • Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, shafts, chains, belts, gearboxes, motors, couplings, cylinders, and material-handling components.
  • Assist with hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacement.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welders, measuring tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, fabrication, and improvement projects.
  • Respond to production breakdowns and work with operators and other maintenance personnel to safely return equipment to operation.
  • Document completed repairs, parts used, and additional work needed.
  • Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
