Overview

DeVincenzi Architectural Products Group, Inc. specializes in creating and fabricating custom architectural metal products for commercial and residential projects. They are looking for a Master Welder who is an exceptional, creative, motivated self-starter to join their experienced design and metal-working production team.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently operate MIG/TIG/stick welding equipment.
  • Cut metals as required for projects.
  • Inspect finished welds for quality assurance.
  • Perform metal finishing and grinding.

Requirements

  • 10 years minimum experience in welding.
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MIG/TIG/stick equipment.
  • Ability to cut metals.
  • Experience in inspecting finished welds.
  • Skills in metal finishing and grinding.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • US Citizen or Work Visa.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including walking, climbing, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Ability to lift and move 50lbs and up to 100lbs assisted.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.

What you'll be running

This posting calls for MIG, TIG, and Stick work. MIG (GMAW) feeds a continuous wire electrode through a shielding-gas nozzle. It lays down metal fast and is forgiving on clean material, which is why it dominates production and light fabrication work. TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
