Know Your Way Around TIG Welding Stainless Steel? OneSource Staffing is hiring an experienced TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in New Columbia, PA. If you’re confident welding stainless steel sheet metal and want steady, Monday to Friday work, we want to talk to you! Pay: $19.00 to $22.00/hr., based on experience Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday to Friday | 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM What You'll Do TIG and MIG weld stainless steel sheet metal and components Weld metal frames and sheet metal assemblies used in ovens and environmental test chambers Set welding equipment, including amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse Select and prepare electrodes and welding materials Strike and maintain a consistent welding arc Control travel speed, arc length, weld bead size, and penetration Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions Perform tack welding and assemble components using jigs and fixtures Clean, degrease, preheat, and prepare workpieces for welding Inspect finished welds for quality and proper specifications Remove excess weld, slag, and spatter Repair damaged or cracked components as needed ***If you're interested in this job and want to learn more, simply click the blue 'Apply Now' button on the right side of the screen.*** What We're Looking For Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel sheet metal Ability to read and follow welding specifications Experience with TIG and MIG welding equipment Strong attention to weld quality and detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Hands-on welding test required – focus on stainless steel sheet Requirements Welding test required Background check and drug screening - at no cost to the applicant Steel-toe/ANSI Z41-compliant footwear required All other required PPE provided Why Work for OneSource Staffing? What you'll be running
