Greif is a global leader in performance packaging, delivering innovative solutions for fast-growing industries. The Maintenance Technician role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with procedures.
  • Conducts visual inspections and checks fluid levels.
  • Listens for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions.
  • Dismantles, inspects, and replaces defective parts.
  • Installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring.
  • Maintains the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Follows guidance from senior colleagues and assists junior colleagues.
  • Adheres to safety procedures and practices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience.
  • Solid understanding of preventive maintenance and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to inspect, test, dismantle, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Skill in reading and applying diagrams and technical instructions.
  • Experience installing and maintaining machinery and equipment.
  • Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and compliance with procedures.
