Overview

Innovative Skincare, home of the iS CLINICAL cosmeceutical brand, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance on manufacturing, packaging, and facility equipment in a GMP-regulated environment. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliability while contributing to the company's commitment to skincare innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Assist in equipment installation, setup, and validation for new machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in accordance with cGMP.
  • Respond promptly to production calls for equipment repairs.
  • Monitor and maintain facility systems such as water purification and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams for equipment performance improvement.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA standards while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain an organized and compliant maintenance shop and spare parts inventory.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Boiler, Chiller, RO Water, and HVAC.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements for manufacturing.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and maintenance software.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

  • This role is fully on-site in our new Climate-Controlled Mesa, AZ facility.
  • Shifts: Day Shifts - Monday through Friday (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) with OT for Scheduled Maintenance.
