Overview

Komatsu, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of mining and construction equipment, offers a military transitional program for active duty service members through the DoD SkillBridge initiative. This internship opportunity focuses on servicing electric drive trucks and electric shovels, with potential evaluations for full-time positions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair Komatsu construction and mining equipment.
  • Receive training on equipment maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, machining, and welding.
  • Participate in on-the-job training as part of the internship.

Requirements

  • Must be a current Active Duty Servicemember.
  • Must be separating from the Military in 8-12 months.
  • Must be able to complete up to a maximum of 120 days SkillBridge internship.
  • Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to learn and accept developmental feedback.
  • Preferred experience in maintenance and/or skilled trades (electrician, machinist, welder).
