Overview

Logoplaste is seeking a day shift Maintenance Technician for their Grapevine, Texas location, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed company established OEE expectations and customer quality expectations
  • Follow Lockout/Tag out Policy
  • Proactively address unsafe conditions on production equipment
  • Process production equipment and maintain documentation to support process changes
  • Address inefficiencies of production equipment
  • Perform maintenance tasks as outlined by Maintenance Manager
  • Use power tool equipment in the shop safely
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as outlined by Maintenance Manager
  • Address machine inefficiencies during PMs

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma (or GED/High School Certification); prefer Technical School Certification
  • 3-5 years relevant manufacturing experience in plastics technology or a similar technical area
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical system issues
  • Strong mechanical maintenance experience and strong knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAP
  • Good 'hands on' working approach
  • Able to work independently, identify problems and improve
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and work well under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and complete in a timely manner with limited supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends as business demands
  • Able to remain in a stationary position for various times throughout the shift
  • Able to move or traverse in manufacturing area safely
  • Ability to ascend/descend a ladder or stairs
  • Ability to position self to work on manufacturing equipment
  • Must be able to see information postings throughout the facility
  • Ability to visually troubleshoot items on machinery and read directions, documents and signage
  • Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 50-75 pounds
  • Ability to work in very hot or very cold conditions
  • Ability to drive a fork lift and achieve certification
