Overview

The Onsite Service Technician role in Atlanta, GA involves delivering essential operations and maintenance support for industrial water treatment systems. Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, maintain, repair and optimize industrial equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on various systems and equipment.
  • Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
  • Create and maintain site paperwork and provide detailed technical summaries of work performed.
  • Assist with mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Partner with customer management and operation teams to advise on system performance.
  • Conduct maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification or international equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License desirable.
  • Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in maintenance preferred.
  • Excellent mechanical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
  • Experience with PLC control systems, programming, and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Previous experience in water treatment operations or industrial services preferred.
  • Experience mentoring or training technician-level personnel preferred.

Additional Information

  • Contract to hire position with multiple openings.
  • First shift and second shift roles available.
  • After 90-day ramp up, schedule transitions to 3 12's and one 6-hr. day.
  • Role is in-house at client’s site in Atlanta, Georgia.
