Overview

Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as an Engineering Technician 2 in the production and repair department, responsible for the repair, assembly, modification, and maintenance of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems at Warner Robins, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
  • Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of repair capability experience in fabricating, repairing, and modifying complex electronic assemblies.
  • Must have IPC J-STD-001 Soldering certification and meet associated training requirements.

Additional Information

  • Must be a US citizen due to ITAR requirements.
  • Position is on-site at Warner Robins, GA.
