Overview

Stranco is a nationally recognized service and rental company with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, providing specialty services and equipment across upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. The Field Service Technician will deliver torqueing, bolting, and testing services at various project locations, ensuring safe and satisfactory project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pressure testing services according to customer requirements.
  • Perform technical bolting and torqueing, and hydrostatic testing.
  • Conduct cold cutting and pipeline services.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment and materials properly.
  • Evaluate products for maintenance, warranty, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with technical and management staff to resolve issues.
  • Execute on-site installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Build positive relationships with customers through excellent service.
  • Report unsafe conditions to the on-site Supervisor and Project Manager.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in field operations preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Basic computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Proficient vision and ability to work at heights exceeding 100 feet.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
