As a Mechanical Integrity & Coatings Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting projects focused on asset reliability, equipment integrity, and corrosion protection while preparing for a successful engineering career.

Responsibilities

• Support projects focused on asset reliability, equipment integrity, and corrosion protection.
• Gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals.
• Build technical knowledge and develop problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Pursuing a mechanical engineering degree or other related majors.
• Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET-accredited school in a preferred major.
• Preferred intern is targeted to graduate between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Available to start as a PT Intern in January or February 2027.
• Intern must be local to the greater Atlanta area and able to be in office a minimum of 16 hours a week.
• Completed a minimum of 2+ years of coursework.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D.
• Prior intern/engineering work experience highly considered.
• Interest in energy and/or oil and gas pipeline system designs.
• A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.

Additional Information

• Part-Time position starting in January 2027.
• Location: Peachtree Corners, GA.

Compensation

• Wage: $24.00 - $28.00 /Hr.
