Overview

Kings Forge Steel is seeking skilled welders and fitters for a unique opportunity at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to assemble floating ship separators and submarine camels. This full-time position offers competitive pay based on skill level and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble four floating ship separators and four submarine camels.
  • Weld and fit structural steel and aluminum.
  • Assemble and bolt together steel tubing, steel pipe, and aluminum components.
  • Operate a 12,000-pound telehandler and work from a man basket.
  • Use grinders, torches, hand tools, and other metal erection equipment.
  • Work with own tools and/or company-provided tools.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
  • 4 years of welding experience (Required).
  • Ability to pass a welding test.
  • No criminal history and ability to clear base security.
  • Experience in welding, fitting, and assembling metal structures.
