Overview

We are a visual display company looking to hire a Carpenter/Fabricator/Welder/Prop & Set Builder. This position involves building structures and products by reading blueprints and assembling materials like wood and metal.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret plans to create finished products.
  • Accurately measure and cut materials to required specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools to shape, form, and assemble components.
  • Connect parts using welding, soldering, bolting, or screwing techniques.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools.
  • Identify and resolve structural or design challenges.
  • Measure, mark, cut, and shape metal pieces using various tools.
  • Operate fabrication machinery and use hand tools for assembly.
  • Join metal components using various welding techniques.

Requirements

  • Expertise in woodworking, framing, and finishing.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings for complex projects.
  • Strong ability to calculate measurements and material needs.
  • Precision for detailed work and physical capacity for demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail for precise cuts and measurements.
  • Efficiently complete projects on schedule while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and contractors.
  • Installation experience required.

  • Must have a flexible schedule as hours will vary.
  • There will be late night and weekend work required.
  • This is a full time position.
