Job Description
Overview
We are a high-end custom sculptural fabrication studio that creates large and small-scale objects and figurative sculptures in various materials for museums, institutions, retail, and residential applications. We are currently seeking an experienced woodworker/mold maker.
Responsibilities
- Finishing and polishing objects
- Custom millworking
- Template jig construction
- Mold making
- Building crates for finished objects
- Installation of finished objects
Requirements
- Three years experience working in a professional shop/studio or similar setting
- Ability to read plans
- Detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Professional demeanor suitable for client interactions
Additional Information
- Schedule: Three days a week 9:00am-6:00pm
