Overview

Tenability LLC is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic / Site Safety Supervisor for active multi-family / public housing elevator construction and modernization projects in the Bronx. The ideal candidate will oversee site safety compliance while performing and supervising hands-on mechanical work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform elevator installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization tasks on site.
  • Serve as the Site Safety Lead, ensuring strict adherence to NYC DOB, OSHA, and project safety standards.
  • Conduct daily safety walkthroughs, toolbox talks, and maintain jobsite safety logs.
  • Coordinate with project management and prime contractors regarding progress and compliance.

Requirements

  • Active NYC Site Safety Training (SST) Supervisor Card (62-Hour preferred or equivalent required).
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certificate.
  • Proven hands-on experience as an Elevator Mechanic on commercial or public housing (NYCHA) projects.
  • Valid NYC Elevator Agency Inspector or Mechanic Credentials (if applicable).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and site management skills.
