Overview

The Test & Balance Journeyman position at ABM involves working safely in a chemical factory, collaborating with experienced technicians in a semiconductor facility, and maintaining system balance during equipment installation and deinstallation. Responsibilities

  • Work safely and follow all protocols to remain safe while working in a chemical factory.
  • Work closely with experienced Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing Technicians in a semiconductor facility.
  • Maintain system and equipment balance during new installations and the deinstallation of old process equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising from designs that cannot meet the air requirements of the process equipment.
  • Work as a team and keep each other accountable and safe.
  • Assist in emergencies as needed in the evening and/or on weekends when the customer needs it.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be a Sheetmetal Workers Union #359 member or be willing to sign up for the apprentice program as a Union #359 member.
  • Must pass a drug screening (including THC).
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Must pass a background check including a criminal history check.
