Exelon is seeking a General Facilities Mechanic in Philadelphia, PA, to ensure safety standards are met while operating, installing, and maintaining building systems. The company is committed to powering a cleaner future and values diversity, innovation, and community service.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all personal, facility, and department safety standards are met.
  • Operate, install, and maintain building components and mechanical systems.
  • Analyze equipment problems and make repairs with or without supervision.
  • Be available for emergency response callouts.
  • Work various shifts as determined by the work schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operation, repair, and maintenance of building structures and systems.
  • Strong communication skills with supervision, peers, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of CMMS such as Maximo is desirable.
  • Valid Driver's license with the ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol tests, background checks, and physicals.
