Overview

Our client is seeking a Prosthetic Technician to support the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of custom upper-extremity prosthetic devices. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals with experience using hand and power tools, machinery, and precision fabrication techniques who enjoy working independently in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, repair, and finish custom upper-extremity prosthetic devices.
  • Create casts and impressions under the guidance of clinical staff.
  • Perform laminations, cosmetic finishing, and detailed fabrication work.
  • Repair, modify, and adjust ill-fitting or malfunctioning prosthetic devices.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, equipment, and work areas.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party manufacturers to support production needs.
  • Collaborate closely with prosthetists and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience with fabrication, machining, manufacturing, or laboratory-based work.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Additional Information

  • Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience.)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
