Overview

The Mechanical Engineer – Gas Turbine Packages provides technical support for mechanical power generation products throughout their lifecycle, interfacing with internal teams and external customers to ensure product performance and compliance. Candidates with experience in utilities or major power generation companies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mechanical engineering support to internal teams to ensure accurate application and utilization of power generation equipment.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from external customers and service providers regarding product performance and troubleshooting.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, engineering standards, and technical documentation related to power generation systems.
  • Support root-cause analysis for mechanical product issues and contribute to corrective actions.
  • Participate in product development and sustaining engineering efforts to enhance product reliability and performance.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and manuals.
  • Provide technical input to sales teams during bid and proposal development.
  • Assist supply chain operations by evaluating technical compliance of purchased mechanical components.
  • Support aftersales and field service operations through commissioning assistance and maintenance guidance.
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant industry codes and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in power generation or related mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems used in power generation.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated analytical, diagnostic, and technical communication skills.
