Overview

Gillmann services is looking for Pipefitters / Pipe welders to join their team in Spartanburg, SC. The position offers full-time hours with pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting complex technical drawings, schematics, and isometric layouts to plan pipe routing and ensure safety code compliance.
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending heavy-gauge metal, alloy, or plastic pipes to exact specifications.
  • Joining pipes using advanced techniques like welding, brazing, soldering, bolting, or mechanical couplings.
  • Mounting valves, flow control devices, and pipe supports, and hooking up systems to pumps, tanks, and compressors.
  • Conducting pressure and hydrostatic tests to inspect systems for leaks and fixing performance issues.
  • Performing routine checks and replacing worn-out components in older industrial systems.

Requirements

  • Ability to take and pass a drug test and background check.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proven pipefitting experience and pipe welding experience.
  • Must be able to be BMW badged.
