Overview

Crown Equipment Corporation is one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers, providing local support globally. The Dock and Door Service Tech role involves troubleshooting and servicing dock and door equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
  • Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
  • Welding.
  • Maintain a service van and its inventory.
  • Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  • Technical school graduate preferred.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Welding experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
  • Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools.
