Overview

Chromalloy is a global engineering and solutions company that provides aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions to extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. The Aerospace Maintenance Specialist role involves working on critical turbine components for various engine platforms in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work from sketches, schematics, and simple prints with minimal supervision.
  • Perform repair jobs such as changing oil in pumps and machine overhauls.
  • Conduct housekeeping and daily checks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Working knowledge and experience in plumbing, HVAC, electric power and controls, gas furnace operation, carpentry, and painting.
  • Knowledge of welding and brazing.
  • Understanding of heat treat equipment operations and repairs.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Comfortable operating a scissor lift.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

Additional Information

  • This is an hourly position with Local 475.
  • Rate of pay is $33.52/hr.
  • Hours are 3:00pm - 11:00pm daily with weekends as needed.
  • Employee is exposed to moderate cold and heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
