Midland Garage Door is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join their team. The company has been a leader in the garage door industry for over 45 years, emphasizing quality products and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-level faults using schematics and test equipment.
• Occasional forklift operation.
• Fabricate necessary repair components as needed.
• Work with other departments to ensure high quality and efficient production.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Champion a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
• Provide assistance in all areas with a can-do attitude.

Requirements

• High School or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment preferred.
• Ability to create and maintain relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Welding/cutting metal experience.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with pneumatic and mechanical drive systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Practical problem-solver who can fabricate fixes when stock parts aren't available.
• Prompt, reliable attendance and ability to respond to off-hours equipment issues.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Additional Information

• Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
• Evening Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday
• Starting Wage: $36/HR DOE for Day Shift, $38/HR DOE for Evening Shift
• Occasional overtime and weekend shifts
