Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to perform repairs and fabrications of components for various mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will use manual machinery and have strong knowledge of machine procedures, mechanics, and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and fabrication of components for motors, generators, pumps, turbines, and gearboxes using manual machinery.
  • Apply electroplating processes as required to enhance component durability and functionality.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining procedures and material requirements.
  • Diagnose issues with damaged or worn components and determine effective repair methods.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure components meet exact specifications.
  • Select appropriate materials for fabrication based on their properties.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain equipment and machinery in optimal working condition.
