Overview

Join KIK Consumer Products as a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist in Bottling & Processing, where you'll troubleshoot and maintain machinery in a fast-paced production environment, contributing to the safety and cleanliness of homes and pools across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot machinery and facility systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and fix them using fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, machining, and basic welding skills.
  • Operate mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and saws to fabricate and repair parts.
  • Execute PMs and safety inspections, capturing findings and work orders in the CMMS.
  • Handle equipment set-ups, tear-downs, relocations, and changeovers for new products and sizes.
  • Troubleshoot motors, sensors, photo-eyes, relays, VFDs, and 120–480 VAC circuits.
  • Respond rapidly to breakdowns and communicate status and parts needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in high-speed packaging, bottling, or similar manufacturing.
  • 2+ years diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
  • 2+ years of basic welding experience (strongly preferred).
  • Strength with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding/fabrication basics, and reading manuals, blueprints, and simple schematics.
  • Maintenance-level understanding of industrial electrical systems and safe work around 120–480 VAC.
  • CMMS proficiency for work orders, parts, and PMs (preferred).
  • Ability to work in temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled, high-noise environments.
