Clemens Food Group is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Plumber to ensure the plumbing, mechanical, production, and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. The company has been committed to quality and innovation for over 125 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on plumbing and mechanical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical equipment and perform root-cause analysis.
• Repair, maintain, and improve plant equipment in production and facility-support areas.
• Operate drain-cleaning equipment, including Eel and Jetter machines.
• Thread steel pipe and solder copper pipe for repairs and projects.
• Gather operational information on large systems for troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret basic pipe drawings and system documentation.
• Maintain accurate documentation for existing and future plant systems.
• Troubleshoot facility equipment with minimal assistance.
• Communicate critical equipment issues to supervision in a timely manner.
• Train fellow plumbers on complex systems and new technology.
• Stay current on plumbing methods and technology.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Strong plumbing and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to operate Eel and Jetter drain-cleaning equipment.
• Ability to thread steel pipe and solder copper pipe.
• Basic understanding of pipe drawings and system documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot at least 50% of facility equipment with minimal assistance.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping habits.
• Effective teamwork, communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to recognize workplace hazards and work safely.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds routinely.
• Flexibility to work fluctuating hours based on production needs.

Additional Information

• Schedule: 2nd Shift | Sunday through Wednesday | 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
