Overview

We are hiring a Welder/Fabricator for a hands-on welding role in an industrial manufacturing environment, focusing on precision welding and fabrication to support plant maintenance and production needs during the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel and other materials
  • Fabricate parts, structures, frames, and components to support plant operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders
  • Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly
  • Repair and rebuild industrial equipment, guards, platforms, and supports
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, torches, grinders, and plasma cutters
  • Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and hot-work requirements
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred, or equivalent training
  • Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG and Stick experience a strong plus
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Solid understanding of welding safety practices and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused mindset

What you'll be running

TIG (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode with filler added by hand, giving the operator the most control of any process. It is slow, demanding, and the standard for stainless, aluminum, and anything where the bead has to look as good as it holds.
