Overview
As a Ground Maintenance Technician (GMT) in a motorized role at Delta Air Lines, you will be part of the Ground Support Equipment team, specializing in repairing vehicles and various airport systems and equipment. This position requires a two-year degree or three years of demonstrated ability in the field.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and overhaul components like truck chassis, body, and drive-train components.
- Perform electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair, painting, bodywork, and technical work.
- Complete data entry to record work assignments and connect with other company personnel as needed.
- Repair and maintain a mix of motorized equipment as well as perform bodywork and other technical tasks.
Requirements

- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Be proficient in English.
- Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
- Willingness to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Achieve a satisfactory score on entry tests structured to determine ability to perform required tasks.
