Overview

Maverick Power is a rapidly expanding company recognized for its innovative power distribution solutions. The Field Service Technician role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high-quality standards in equipment installation and support.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites for equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to address quality and warranty concerns.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and product instructions.
  • Complete field technical reports and update safety documents.
  • Work with service management and engineering staff to address quality issues.
  • Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Utilize electrical test equipment to diagnose and repair installed equipment.
  • Assist engineering staff in developing technical documentation.
  • Use mechanical skills to install and repair electro-mechanical components.
  • Support service sales efforts by interfacing with engineering and manufacturing staff.

Requirements

  • 2-Yr Technical Degree and minimum of 2 years of electrical/mechanical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be insured.
  • Must comply with all company administrative and safety policies.
