Maverick Power is a rapidly expanding company recognized for its innovative power distribution solutions. The Field Service Technician role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high-quality standards in equipment installation and support.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites for equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to address quality and warranty concerns.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and product instructions.
- Complete field technical reports and update safety documents.
- Work with service management and engineering staff to address quality issues.
- Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Utilize electrical test equipment to diagnose and repair installed equipment.
- Assist engineering staff in developing technical documentation.
- Use mechanical skills to install and repair electro-mechanical components.
- Support service sales efforts by interfacing with engineering and manufacturing staff.
Requirements
- 2-Yr Technical Degree and minimum of 2 years of electrical/mechanical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insured.
- Must comply with all company administrative and safety policies.
