Overview
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will work in a team environment to provide technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring safety and high-quality production. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various systems including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and welding.
Responsibilities
- Maintain manufacturing processes and equipment in optimum condition.
- Provide technical support to ensure a safe environment and high-quality product.
- Operate various equipment including electrical, electronics, mechanical, pneumatic, and welding tools.
- Repair and replace components in building systems and various equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and isolate problems in multiple systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for repairs and modifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in maintenance, specifically in electrical, mechanical, and equipment repair.
- Ability to train and guide other mechanics.
- Comprehensive understanding of building systems, electrical codes, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Current refrigeration license.
Additional Information
- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays may be required.
- Regularly lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift more.
- Work extended hours and rotating schedules.
- Work in various temperature-controlled environments.
