Overview

DC Fabricators Inc. is a leader in the design and manufacturing of steam condensers and heat exchangers for the US Navy. They are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for their Florence, NJ facility to operate various machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators and machinists perform work in the machine shop.
• Operate vertical and horizontal boring machines.
• Operate lathes and mills, such as BridgePort Machine.
• Operate tool cutting, grinding, and sharpening equipment.
• Operate saws, grinders, and other tools.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Vocational/Trade School diploma or other related post-high school education desirable.
• Must have at least three (3) years of relevant machining experience.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to use measuring instruments of the trade (micrometers, scales, etc.).
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Must have knowledge of metal properties and other materials.
• Must have mathematical skills and analytical abilities.
