Job Description

Overview

The Miller Electric Precision Welding Division is seeking a Laser Welding Product Specialist to drive sales and growth of their new handheld laser technology in the mid-south United States. This role involves training distributor partners, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with the ITW Welding sales team to present the value of handheld laser solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Train and activate distributor partners on handheld laser technology.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase handheld laser products.
  • Develop ROI capital equipment sales presentations.
  • Qualify leads and manage the opportunity funnel.
  • Maintain communication between sales resources, distributor partners, and end-users.
  • Effectively manage the assigned territory focusing on key accounts.

Requirements

  • BS in Welding Engineering or Welding Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of prior experience in the welding industry.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong background in TIG and/or Laser welding processes.
  • Prior sales experience in the welding industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans around the customer landscape.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel overnight at least 75%.
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector qualification preferred.
  • Bilingual language skills preferred.

What you'll be running
