Overview

The Installer works with the Service team to install, service, and repair commercial laundry equipment for clients while adhering to quality standards and procedures set by Alliance Laundry Systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial laundry equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform accurate diagnosis and provide recommendations and instructions to clients.
• Assist with routine preventive maintenance of parts and equipment.
• Take parts for repair or order necessary replacements for faulty parts.
• Write accurate reports summarizing work performed.
• Collaborate in disassembling equipment for maintenance or repair.
• Assist with research and placement of parts orders to meet deadlines.
• Provide inventory reports for the assigned company vehicle and report company expenses.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and installations.
• Communicate escalations to the Service Manager and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform other tasks as required to maintain efficient department operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment repair preferred.
• Knowledge of single-phase electric power equipment required.
• Experience in customer support via telephone and email/ticketing systems preferred.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
• Strong mechanical acumen to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Solid organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Resilient and able to navigate ambiguity and change.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude.

Additional Information

• Travel will be limited to the service territory with some overnight travel required.
• Position involves physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
