Overview

Nordson Test & Inspection is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician II to join their team, contributing to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The role involves building, assembling, and testing components while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components according to schematics, blueprints, or work instructions.
  • Inspect parts and materials for defects prior to assembly to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment to complete assembly tasks safely and accurately.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, fastening, or mechanical fitting depending on product requirements.
  • Conduct functional tests and quality checks on assembled units to verify proper performance.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues ranging from minor to complex and make adjustments or repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly steps, completed work, and test results.
  • Follow safety procedures, clean work areas, and contribute to maintaining an organized production environment.
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to resolve technical or material issues.
  • Meet daily or weekly production targets while adhering to manufacturing and quality standards.
