Job Description

Overview

Ecolab is seeking an Assembler I to join their team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This hands-on position involves contributing to the reliability and performance of systems through assembly, checks, and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components with precision.
  • Perform hydraulic and electrical checks to confirm equipment functionality.
  • Lead re-manufacturing tasks including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly.
  • Follow process and specification sheets accurately.
  • Complete labor reporting and recordkeeping with attention to detail.
  • Use TPM tools to drive improvements in safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate proactively about maintenance needs and quality concerns.
  • Keep leadership informed on daily activities and operational challenges.
  • Support the development of others by assisting in training teammates.
  • Step in wherever needed to help the team meet its goals.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math ability.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time-management and communication skills.
